carry not so much with you
just a courageous lout's promise
but the mounting bulk
of all his darkest fears too
as far deeper than any known
determination
regret none too cleverly takes
its fervently garnered cue
the soul too often finds itself
upon the weathered remnants
of a marked man's mission
trembling noticeably in the wake
of fuming doubt
there can be no greater pledge
nor hope of permission
than that of the truly lost
begging God
just what is it all about
ah, but if only a handful of words
could paint more than a thousand
paintings of glory
then perhaps
the words
I Love You
wouldn't seem quite so stark
and lifeless
to 'The Garaged Soul'
whose depth goes far deeper
than any chasm ruled by the too
imperfect human senses
physical death to the soul
must be so very sweet
I await such champion notice
with fearless breath of body
that bedazzles even the fondest
forms of defeat................
