such apparent desire

must take much fire

yet of such said fire

note that I shall never tire

instead

the milky mire

of a much more refined desire

I shall endeavor to reign in

rather

so to burn it

just a little higher

for the awaiting hotter floods

of a more desirable sire

as the essence of my very esteemed

lust and love

shall shamelessly tighten to tether

me to his beautifully bold and

beloved brier

alas

at one with my most repetitious

muse

I sit curiously a top

a most dangerous emotional wire

it seems the flame out of its loyalty

to me has foisted its own fuel

to fool the friar

now

'tis such a pity too

that I myself wasn't

a far better liar..................
