both are real gold

with a romantic semblance tacked on

as such

while one means so little

the other so very very much

for one man gave his heart

where the other merely tried to ply

me with his many abundant possessions

he too wanted a wife

but also to continue on with his

little indiscretions

so I chose the better man

he was poor but had a heart rich

in loving purity

and so loyal he is to me

while the other man lives now alone

in virtual obscurity .............
