narcissists
know it well
the wrenching deception
of 'Vanity's Blur'
as icy reality lashes
looks indeed on their
supposed value
cashes
the big checks that is
from all those
know it all gangly-on-lookers
the in crowd wanna bes
high on expensive drugs
with their empty headed flashy
lookers left overs
one might too casually observe
spilling from the night life rave
scene
in such ultra lucid reality
livid jealousy steals sordidly down
a nearby side street
to a pretty junkies paradise
where anyone can cash out her treats
this death roach needs a permanent bath
besides a good rubber leash to put on his
eager meat
and the silent praise of a thousand spit
out threats
won't assuage his festering urban pride
for all rejection in such place carries
with it a big sharp blade
and its cut this latest bad boy wide open
in mid stride
so too angry, abused and totally addicted now
this fast fading lost leach
is looking to skin revenge
off every last member of society's hide
the violence in him vies for some sort of
attention
so he kills for the show and beats bloody
just those who are free to go down paths
he himself for whatever the reason can not
each kill is a twisted attempt to fill an
emptiness of his own humanity
that never lets him forget
acceptance is long now out of his mortal
reach
his impending demise
when it comes
will only further serve another strung
out slug
as a sick guide to a seemingly endless
spiral into heinous self destruction
with only one final afterthought
'tis such a pointless pity
that just one tragically wasted life
can do so much damage to those who even
most innocently come in contact with it
free will is a very dangerous gift
to have been given to man kind............
