he was

dragon smart

yet

earth friendly

an antagonist

strumming a golden harp

so gay and mighty

unlike a master

of his moment

he stumbled all Willy Nilly

through his early life

his mind

a mysticism most ravaged

an enigma with the voice

of an angel born

to even moderately attempt

to imagine the discontent of his

soul

one would lave to watch

his Henry the fifth

closely

and without prejudice

how he so easily managed to

sandwich the madness and evil

banqueting on the feasts

flowing from his very own

vessel of spirit........

I recently read a book on his life and this poem evolved from that.
He was at best a deeply complicated and cold sort of man.......
