layers of mischief

surround

the prank

that now does not

seem so harmless

as angst

shares her marveled moment

in the suddenly darkened

thick air

with undisputable ease

the dampening effect

of the too rudely made remark

is then miraculously lifted

educating the gaping on lookers

and their rude mouth piece

that there are dances of unified joy

yet to even be attended to here

the good hearted comedic

peacemaker

indeed

does have her work cut out for her

and the prayed for angels of guided reason

only further inspire her efforts to heights

of harmony yet to be retired

her fellow inmates

hush to startled silence  before her

gently exposed awe's supreme wake

as their uncalled for hate and obvious

despisal they quietly put away

as such ugliness is not welcomed here

the remembered reason for celebration

quickly rallies to host its so very

relieved evening inhabitant's Joy

as peace reflects in us all..............
