but a shallow lie

yourself

even while

you introduce truth

to your latest ploy

'The Convincement'

of your supposed

loving me

Ha!

you play with me

an elaborate farce

fit for the amusement

of a fool

like I could ever

believe you for even

a moment

you mock me

with such veiled threat

of kindness

now

take your sweet but empty

faux lover's words back

for I have far too many other

more pressing annoyances to alleviate.......
