like an enlightened breath
of spring time's air
newly expressed awareness
from life's much too dull
and overly restrictive lungs
we have no idea how well we have it
really
at least not until we
finally
get to go back home
surely such passage as death
must be the identical twin to birth
minus all the rush and discomfort of course
but perfect in a world where its ignorant
inhabitants milk their surroundings for
all they are worth
and to think some would pay to get the chance
to come here
and yet gifts no matter how tragic
do not always carry an obvious price tag on
them
we each must do our part
to reveal the worth of what we each possess
truly inside
oh and of course always remember that God
never gives away the game.............
