COMPLETENESS REFLECTED IN ME (M.A.K.)

JOURNAL #21

(the following poem I read and loved and was amazingly

inspired to expand upon)

          (COMPLETENESS)

you're music and laughter

and everything sweet

the past and hereafter

and present complete

my heart is enraptured

ecstatically so

it wants to be captured

to go where you go

and that is my plea

love take me along

I want so to be

the words to your song

by S. H. Dewhurst

(and now for my inspired version

of this sweet poem)

       (Completeness Reflected In Me)

for me

you are music

yet fully composed

and laughter that coats my loose tongue

and everything

that now lives in me sweet

so sweet

the past and here after

and my so hoped for present

quite unguardably and unarguably

complete

my heart is timelessly enraptured

ecstatically so

it wants to be captured and wrapped up

so very safely well within your words

so to flow but to you

and wisely unhindered

just so

and this I am saying without much breath

in my body nor with any of my temper's

usual mirth

is my latest pledged yet pride less plea

Love

my joyous love

take me along

to go where you go

to see all that you see

as for this very this

I alone want so much

a splendid part of it to be

but the so very simple words

yet even writ by you

to your very own soul's

ageless song

so, here I await

so patiently for my call

to the stage of your life

apparently still under such

careful construction

where I believe I alone

just for you am meant to sing

and for so very very long of a

time still to come

too

now tell me my dear dear heart

do these flaming out of control

thoughts of mine scare you?

well

all my yet answered prayers

whisper to me

no!..................
