did he do it or didn't he

each side seems to believe

that they the truth alone know

yet, tell me, did the lovely vibrant

Ms. Brown and the boyishly handsome

Mr. Goldman allow themselves to be slain

just to help create a mass media show?

for two young beautiful lives to be so

brazenly snuffed out then so carelessly

by the time of the trial half forgotten

is truly within itself a punishable crime

where in our brutal-blase' society

does heinous death I ask you

out weigh the mere blink of passing time

in this case perhaps just this once

the knife gone yet found can pull no punch

the extensive blood evidence alone will paint

the court a pure yet horrific factual truth

one even a thousand attorneys could not so

easily rebuke

so note dear victims of the slaughter

that you did not get brutally murdered in vain

for the evidence has begun to start piling quite

high

and its much too late  for the defendant to plead

guilty by reason he was temporarily insane.........
