we can be who we are
just as
we can not be who we are not
yet between the intermission
of the two
there always lurks hope
mere dreams of the wakeful mind
man's limits
are mostly governed by
the perimeters of his
unjustified fears
take away the latter
and the former
shows itself for the myth
that it truly is
cowards long ago
taught us well
the art of constantly second
guessing one's self
and they likely died
never being none the wiser
for such overly wide and too
well of a traveled path taken
listen to a new voice
your own instincts
they don't need a megaphone
to speak to you
for the soul possesses the finest
voice
like that of a well seasoned theater
actor
with careful concentration
you can hear for yourself the
negativity being silenced
and that there still is a lot of
deep breath left in the body that
houses what we call our
'True Selves'....................
