little avenging angel ( mercy)
so bothered by the fettered dawn
death she clasps to a harnessed hope
as memory feeds upon her lavish lawn
ever lush hails to the grass from the
wink of such a flirtatious wind
beckon me back to a time of sweet
simplicity
and I will paint for you a glowing
portrait of the end
flower of youth
her arms overflowing with soft, fragrant
blooms of unhurried serenity
smiling so guileless with a heart
brimming full of treasured truth
how quickly in Heaven they all run to thee
you whom promise comes to so naturally
we'll see each other again very soon........
