we seek something better
but often take the best of what
we can get
the trade off lies in the endurance of the lull
in between the two conflicting spheres
what we want verses what is available
a dilemma of constructive deconstruction
man's greatest pit
the tar in which he wallows in
the get rich gasp
that chokes the spirit
is for most
an unknown but constant ailment
for others a hollow hurdle
cleared when the time is right
what experience teaches each individual
in invaluable
the Rosetta Stone
one might say
is man's reconciliation with the
existence and subsequent value of his
living soul
all the rest then
becomes potatoes
gathering around him
like bothersome dust
trappings of this physical life
but little more than
useless junk
to the self educating soul............
