as a child

I saw rainbows

often upon the dampened cement

as an adult

I found the same

but now

only in just your eyes

'Imagine' that John Lennon

all the magic of the world

staring so unblinkingly back at me

from the eyes of one untainted man

one beloved moment

casting perfect, everlasting beauty

upon an entire lifetime

melting the chasm that was there before

poorly substituting inner balance

emotional peace

makes my breakfast every morning now

building with great beams

a most fantastic reality

upon foundations of solid

indestructible love

our love that lives

now theres a spotless

good idea

together

we could write the finest

blue prints of our very own happiness

our true hearts

the every changing

yet never ending

architects for such evolving

and merging souls............
