from walks of all ages they, with their bravery at hand
quietly come
as graceful as mildly wounded Gazelles
dancing upon crutches, which before only helped them
to propel
their broken, frail child like bodies
magnificent in each its indifference to whatever the
handicap
such undisguised beauty, possessed so courageously in
these young, determined, wise minds
these small warriors fighting adversity know whats
going on and just where its all at
its in each our loved filled hearts
passed all our own personal flaws
with his wearing braces over there and she a cast on her arm
and I with my perpetual reading glasses
we each forget our own handicaps that we and others
view only as small
the world today is so much crueler than I believe it has ever
been before
but for each cruel aspect there is a helpful adult or
an understanding child quick to step up and aid such
individuals in acceptance and the initial opening of
yet another much needed door
and that my dear is why I, (yes me) am here and just
what I am standing and do stand up for..........
