like shoes rescued from the incoming fog

onward with them we trudge

bravely unencumbered

happy! just for recognizing what it is we each have

separately found

astonishing love in the other

that we know will not soon perish

along side physical ecstasy in its highest form

nutritious emotional romance

completion for the searching soul

infinity for the once seemingly unloved

now loved beyond all doubt and expectation

two throttled spirits entwined

scouting the realm of fully realized life

heading for what?

we know not just yet

but still happy all the same

for simply  heading towards

whatever

that indescribable something

together......always..........
