how could I have known

that I though entirely on my own

with but just one clever line

could so quickly gain the coveted

upper hand

as my supposed rival held no real

true wit

as I pulled out all full a throttle

on his sickening schtick

the man sputtered where as I on the

other hand would have chosen to spit

well, thats what one gets for being

such a prick

he should have put up far better collateral

other than that of his questionable clever

tongue

perhaps then my off color barb wouldn't have

so bitterly stung

I bet by our next verbal encounter he's learned

to a far better degree

a firmer seat in his own self discipline.....
