in a fast paced society

full of cleverly hidden morality

we find the majority of all true hope

lost sadly in its wake

and since self honesty it seems has become

the next victim of inconsideration's unwarranted

fatality

I can't help but wonder

what next will be put at stake

love can have a big voice in even the smallest man's

heart

but its not always that same voice that shoves man

out of harm's way

but when he is able to locate his such said instrument

the need becomes great to play his part

as have I in this pain free attempt at profitable prose

I've covered many bases and stormed by all the offered

throws

never should self contempt be permitted a place to

play in this game

for its presence lowers the odds of winning and

re-points the formidable finger of blame

to who it will point to next is not for innocent I

to say

now that I have successfully completed my promised

tour allow me the courtesy to listen where I lay........
