I once possessed a drive in me that I now can't explain
and on my elusive memory the scar has evolved into
a stain
heaven is not as far away from us as many seem to think
man is merely part of the chain that has many a mysterious
yet intricate link
our father is woven in our thoughts through relatives,
church and society's extensive teaching
he is a man but more than a man and one of whom for
which his eternal forgiveness we each should be reaching
hopeful is the wiser who can wait patiently for his
provided place
though we are each human we are of and not in a human's
race
a tear triumphantly touches my cheek
and I brush it away as I try to explain of just what it
is that I speak
the last of the lost souls who do not recognize themselves
as maladjusted and meek
come to realize that only a selected collective few
are counted and labeled as weak
these are the children that are forever lost to the Father
they've thrown away their beliefs
because believing in the physically unproven
to them is too much of a bother.............
