HUSHED CONFESSIONS

Folder:
JOURNAL #22

sweet sweet words

whispered so softly in my attentive ears

I love you so, so much

in hot breath all tones

he said hushed by his very own awe of

the moment

and I'm sorry too much that I want you

and it hurts

I'm basking in your love

my tears themselves replied

absorbing the fine sheen of your confession's

frank essence

do I turn your tattered heart to cinders

upon the winter's hearth

and make your breath back up on itself

do your hands itch

to skate up and down my bare pale cool

soft woman's torso

is avid their sole path

to pleasure's thick forest

the road is quite clearly marked for thee

in my delicious ramblings even sleep

harks to me

come treat your battle weary scarred heart

to that of a journey like it has never

truly known before

but I must do so

I fear right now

but only in my dreams

mon cherie je'taime

I love you beyond the scope of all

imagined moments

why, even into the grave my love shall

companion you

and be glad to rest its thankful appendages

gently across your now far too silent heart's

cage

your love is at last free

and with you

know that it takes a part of me

one of the most important parts anyway

all I ask is

let the ashes of your love blow back to me

tonight

with the evening's regular dusk

and rest upon my trembling lips

just as silently as my own shall speak to you

once you are gone forever

through every moonlight's shadow to come

and each unfailing morning's mist..........

Author's Notes/Comments:

was feeling in an ultra romantic mood. I wrote this poem for nobody in particular, except well maybe me!
