ETERNITIES YET KNOWN

Folder:
JOURNAL#23

the bow of the branching tree

trembles

beneath these heavy thoughts

bells toll on a brass ship

that never sailed to sea

man breeds such waves of confusion

and chaos

out of the strained strings of harmony

the eyes of the breeze

silently shut their tree top lids to the wind

sailors of old

feared most

such insidious doldrums

a magic carpet of mystery

sweeps the lonesome prairie

coyotes steal the height from

the swaying elephant grass

trampling much of its growth 's hope

with their seemingly careless lounging

carcasses

such said day of laze

hampers not he who carries his life's

compass always with him

to work

the soul

that is never long forgotten

will not allow

its house

this frail human body

its many various

duties to shirk

breath gives life

but life gives each of us

death

yet just another door

like birth

to 'Eternities Yet Known'

so breath in all luck

and exhale all fury

to all man

than each would even dare to think..............
