a stable of unbridled goodness
such a poem doth bring
to the eyes, to the heart
to the tear duct's reddening
ring
was it an epic or an ode
my mind is not trained quite
well enough to convey
but love and longing
saturated every line
and I was enchained
enslaved with the hooks
of my every last
captivated dream
a chariot driving, God fearing
mad, sexy sorcerer of a man
you more and more become
you tempt and you tantalize
with but the sweetness of
your words
seeping into my
blood stream like the finest rum
as intoxicated as I am
by your heady mix of poet, troubadour
fiery lover and a scientific searching
Solomon
praising me in a near Napoleonic wave
of ache filled lament
you rupture my poor heart
so beautifully supreme
as you fill it with your treasures
of love's luxurious furniture
so selflessly sent
only through your eyes can I see
a pale reflection of all that you
seem to see in me
does that make me
the feminine Narcissus
or a mere enamored woman
who loves THE sad
who loves THE solemn
who loves THE solid
and with a mercurial measure
and whispers her prayers of
thanks into the very ears of God
for sending me THE' s way
in such a unique and benevolent manner
for with but one unlikely introduction
through the most obscure means
two souls were saved
through his tender twining of
our two oh so similar dreams
and this sir is my full response to THE.............................
