SAGE SAMPLES

Folder:
JOURNAL#2

one would not wish to follow the path

where only the blind and foolhardy have lead

so often in one form or another you have heard

this many times said

in this statement there is logic to be had

so let me show you some Sage Samples before hand

with the help of this pen and pad

if you fell out of a tree you would more than

likely break a bone and not your spirit

say you go out to that same tree a few days later

do you think you would be a little leery, maybe

even fear it

I know that's a strange concept to absorb and make

sense out of

like is there really any difference between a

push and a shove

I think some really weird thoughts at even stranger

times

there is no limit to how high into the space of

absurdity my mind clings and climbs

this is my favorite form of fun

the paper is my loom

this pen churns out words like strands of thread

being spun

what can I say I consider it my personal gain

when someone finds me to be eccentric leaning

towards this side of insane

I have managed to share myself with you just one more time

I'll cease doing so for this moment so you can

say at least that every line I wrote in this highly

questionable poem

still somehow managed to rhyme

well,

lucky lucky me,

oh yeah...........
