an ocean of admiration

vastly separates man from his creator

though far too many seem to have

forgotten their awe

on their endless campaign of sinning

love is so much more than the mere 7th wave

its 365 circulations around the glory of the sun

and then some

its the collapse of the stars all at once

Babylon was destroyed in the blink of an eye

yet instruments of war marched on and on

catapults for one example

permeated the landscapes of Europe

for more than a dozen grizzly decades

of fighting

men full blown hungry for guts  blood shed and war

their lust for power and equal mistrust of

each other

blots every marking of time's passing without

patience or pause

substantial proof

that man enjoys self sanction for sabotage's sake

more than even a  thimble full of dull peace  

obtained

while his soul-less agenda's continually fail him

for true prosperity of any form

lies in one's spiritual wealth alone

not in the unfillable flaming baskets of

human  greed..........
