FIFTEEN MINUTES

Folder:
JOURNAL#2

caddy corner to what I've thought many times before

many recollections fall short on anothers lush

languid and expective shore

is there really any great one above keeping

accurate score

If so, for magnanimous me what does he have yet in store

verify what I'm saying by looking beyond the truth and peace for this day's expended grace

who better than we humans to rally for this human's race

should we support embittered angers

instigate blind trust

over look wide spread stupidity and condone greed

and fashionless lust

should we be allowed to do what we feel we must

feeling does not preclude judgement as always being just

I think that outlook for me has too high a price to pay

my values are deeply entrenched  within

and that's where I'd like them to stay

my common human decency will not stray

my profound opiinions you will not sway

I believe my fifteen minutes of being famous

are about up now

to you, Mr. Andrew Warhol I take off my cap and bow
