we're not in love you and I
we're not really lovers
merely strangers
passers by
it's not really you I need when I cry in the night
yet its your clear eyes in my mind
I see in the dawn's blinding light
do you think of me when I'm not there
am I in your thoughts when you go off into space
and blankly stare
oh sweet, passionate, lust filled friend
bring this ache and misery to a fantastic end
find the key to unlock these chanins of all
consuming hunger
be these fellings as they may
no man could ever put asunder
you bring me to a level of shear
uncontrollable bliss
no woman could ever have lived fully
without feeling like this
do I burn in your mind and soul
do your thoughts turn to me
when they need a place to go
can you love another yet still want me
it hurts so deep when you talk of her in front
of me
is infatuation a key player in our little game
or is desperation a better name
tears cloud and blur my eyes
when I think of my beautiful blond haired
blue eyed boy
to have him with me now
wouold be a painful if not numbing joy
DEAR HEART you have me as labeled
your dear sweet head to my breast I have cradled
blithering cold tears wash away
this unrequited pain from my shackled heart
to end this poem now as is
would be indubitably smart........
