within the faith of a thousand or more cathedrals

amongst your fellow patriots doing their own duty

a scarred truth by some abused edict is formed

through a patchwork of merits and demerits

the framework for inhumanity is irrevocably

torn

such purpose reigns synonymous with ignorance to

the extreme

man in his own abundant butchered flaws holds

court in a manner guaranteed to only further demean

how foolish is the world to even remotely think

otherwise

abu graib

not only a system's failure

but a lack of personal checks and self control

on the part of the captors

t'is almost laughable

men who came, in the name of liberation

abusing their power

and making a far worsening muck of an already

fast deteriorating situation

pity has no place for those who hide behind the

statements of "I was just doing what I was told"

if that were the case then we must thank God your superiors

never told you to go out back and blow your own head off

tell me boys, ( for that is what you are acting like)

would such action on your part be a far worse tragedy?

from what I have seen

I somehow think not

the country would only think you an idiot for being

so gullible

to my way of thinking the only difference now is

you are a torturous inhumane and heartless idiot

and in some cases a lying murderer to boot

deny all you wish but in the end your heads will

be hung for many years in some remote jail cell

far too heavy to lift from the shame.........
