whoever said LOVE IS EASY was wrong

this I will remember my whole life time long

Happiness is something we each must work for

and once we've paid our debt in full

only then will we be lead to love's door

you bring your words to my non lyrical song

with you alone I feel I somehow belong

love is a question we all get stumped by

and the pain of it all I can tell you is no lie

sometimes fear plays a big part

the fear that is of giving one's heart

sometimes the giving of the heart can be quite painful

but never ever think of it as silly or shameful

and never think for even one minute that I don't love you

for should you ever start to believe such thoughts

I'll know then that we're done with and through

whoever said LOVE IS EASY was VERY wrong........
