so ponderingly sweet

and undeniably quite undeniable

that is how I see you in my young,

untried mind's eye

so filled with perfect tragedy

such is this delicious aching

the epitome of love

your charm out ranks the obviously

stated brawn

I am not immune though to the

devastation of your rapt gaze

even while I so brilliantly pretend

otherwise

desiring you as I do is after all

my own secret burden

you have no idea

an affair between two objectionable

opposites

why, the city would howl and only lend

to further the rumors that would flood

the head lines

beautiful ingenue takes up with handsomely

rusty watch dog

we ignored all the signs posted as they were

and let love venture out to play

and deep in the farthest regions of my more

logical being

I know we couldn't have let our

'Chance Touched Hearts' lead us in any other

way
