rage at the hands of poor punctuation
inside a country of narrow minded paragraphs
all manners of recourse
just inadequate band aids
for deep wounds in far off republics
eye loop lessons forged from past mistakes
on display in the hindsight wisdom of meticulous
history books
when reality has proven that its our own humanity
that saves us
joining the streaming colors of the collective
enchanted
that separates man from his own blood
therapy for
the best awful self
societies will allow
an affair in the street
with (whether it be)
machine guns or pens
in hand
modern society will forever be asleep
at bitter table after bitter table
of such brutal contradictions
and governmental demands
as those of its own people are placed under
yet when one stands himself apart from the
rest of the cut
that is when the original good of one's self
intentions
demoralizes entire worlds
one example stands shadowed in the disgust of
many hearts and minds
with more to come
yet even born
one word tells the entire horrificly
true story
