I am alone upon this ship

sailing this lovely sea

you sail another channel

far, far away

and occasionally agree to

meet up with me

you do not understand the movement of

my stern

nor the purpose of my bow

you only view before you

'A Not So Dissimilar Sea'

we do not crest the same waves

nor drop anchor in typical harbors

but the laws apply the same

a heart is a heart

in such storms of need....................
