natural breath

just a moment to exhale

save of course for that magnificent moment

of inhale

In Service Of The Body

there is much greed in the lungs

the choice of oxygenation

verses  the underlying possibility

of death

apt proof

that even simple matters

may require complex processes

an intelligent conclusion

a mathmeticians prized thesis

divulged upon a steep deprived whim

all child's play though

for those work horses of the body

the heart

and lungs

thankless bastards

noble yet pitiful creatures that slog away

for naught

both swift dissmissables

at the end of physical life

necessary tethers

to a flesh covered post
