beautiful naked determination
the absolute unbending courage
to live upon such ceaseless battlegrounds
such war weary lifelong innocents
now have the full command of my recently educated respect
as decimated mother Afghanistan
exposes to the entire world her starved, sick and beaten secrets
a million unnamable tragedies are revealed in eyes void of any true life
and some of the so ruthlessly robbed are not even aware yet that such abhorent theft in themselves has taken place
living in such hell that these truly tenacious of life tribal people only know as home
a social crime it is
committed in part by all the world with our backs carelessly turned from the despair, hardship and ignorance
anarchy rose and grew to brutalize and demean the weak and defenseless
and murder the helpless, the small and the sick and silence with torture and death the voice of those who drew up the courage to oppose
God must weep daily for this battered war orphan Afghanistan
the tears of her neglected children spur us on to prevail
a retaliation yes to the soulless acts that created the ultimate BLACK Tuesday in September
and yet, from these same embittered ashes
a sculpted exodus of her oppressed and starving people makes a deep emotional impact in our media bombarded minds
America is no evil toting force nor any sort of savior in this Truly Unasked For War
stand to recognize this statement as fact
but she can be a fierce foe when provoked to those deserving her mighty wrath
though when one looks again they can, if they care to, see a concerned and compassionate friend to those who deserve her help
while still grieving those who were lost quite unknown to the masses
we also pray daily for an end to the innocent Afghan's misery and carnage
Mother Afghanistan's most precious commodity her children..........
