tranquil

the peace of centuries

gentle in your every sway

a pool of yellow

flowing into

an ocean of grace

giving so much strength

to your unarguable loveliness

you embrace one's eyes

with heaven like visions

and the sensuous scent

of timeless floral

beckons to the gentled soul within

to step into your undisturbed world

so very separate from man

but such temptation to his senses

is this creature of planted loveliness

something to be spiritually treasured

and its because of this

that you dear WATERLILLY

will never for long

go undiscovered

nor creatively appreciated

repeatedly

by countless

further enrapt onlookers

such as this poetess

taken hostage

this very moment

by your otherworldly

beauty........
