everything went black today

its as if my heart is having a migraine

I've been butchered and dropped

where I stand

shaking in disbelief

with empty hands

all over a joke

to send some

intimate ribbing to

the most amazing man

I'll die a stupid woman

and the world will never

know

I was one with happiness

for the briefest beautiful time

he exited my life

with little more than a rhyme

and I am one of those shadows

on a wall

left by a person annihilated

so quickly by the setting off

of some great bomb

it just came to me

I'm  a 'Modern Day Hiroshima'..............
