love aches

love needs

love convolutes

and it impedes

love is a victim

love is a crime

love is circumstance

stripped of its romantic rhyme

love can be rumor

and love can be fact

love can take any and all down

a notch or two

with little or no tact

love can be ecstasy to the finest

extreme

or end up as dismal as the dreaded

grind

love is above all else

a test

and to its faults

man can be so horrendously blind

in some circles of flawed cheer

'tis even considered a shame that

man for the most part

can not live long

without his 'Intimate Nemesis'
