DEFENDING MY GRIN

Folder:
JOURNAL #29

a grin

is to smile in one's eyes

as the mouth itself has very little really

to do with a true smile

joy precedes the beauty of reaction

the mouth is but an instrument

a mere rictor scale for the

earthquake of the humorous core

connection embraced and shared

on the simplist level of all

that border less place

we call nirvana

a spiritual giggle have I

on my path to the soul of God

'tis a monumental journey

scattered with an assortment of treasures

inanimate and animated

so many breaths have I expelled

this word full entangling I've come to share

now with you Jay

is but the latest acquisition

to my lifelong undertaking

that of

emotional

educational

cultural

multi-national

and yes

most certainly as well

CONVERSATIONAL

exchange

for you see

my Grin

is my coat of arms

my trustful

letter of introduction

to the world populous

(whomever they are at any

given moment)

that I just so happen to meet

in warmer terms

I take seriously my

grins and role in life

which is viable exchange

a laying on of thoughts

for the same

in return

truth in its layers

peeled back

with the words of belief

and written down

from the view point

of my faith

at a respectable slant

as best as I can state

this is me
