TIMOROUS HEART

Folder:
JOURNAL #29

oh beat so bravely

timorous heart

and be not still

in this moment spoken

the song knows not the purpose of the flute

only that the flute sends sweet breath

down the shaft of such said beauty

in but one gentle blow

so sleep with these tender thoughts

and venture to dream of a place

where time is of little consequence

young man

and I shall endeavor to be less

and less vague
