we are all but models
in God's great gallery
professional spirits
placed
in such amateurish bodies
complex simplicity
born unto free will
mights own simplistic purity
the human idea of the harbor seal
much more dangerous than they first
appear
yet the soul's candlelight burns by far
far brighter than any ray of sunlight
that has ever shone upon any millennium
since the dawning of time itself
yet still violence grips man so strongly
in the palm of its far too prosperous hand
where the world's pacifist's may rely on
misfortune's expected accuracy
I, myself personally tend to choose
mine enemies quite well
and always on my own carefully recited terms
whatever the unfolding events
inciting me to better behave
I again pick up this
by far too demanding pen
and venture to write
via my otherwise distanced soul
about all that I hear and see..........
