A SONNET FOR A KISS

Folder:
JOURNAL#26

How do I miss thee

let me grope the ways

allow me to lick your candlelight

and seduce you at any stage

(of undress that is)

with pen in hand

I sketch your enamored eyes

with the talented aid of my

deathless longings

the drizzle of the day

love depicting compromise

sweet rain of blessed want

wash me worrilesly ever away

carry my salt of self to your

salacious shores of love laved

glory

malign me not my love

for these flippant feelings of

dismay

for cope in her ill fitting harness

lunges to bring us even closer in spirit

and I am wish himself in the isle of spring

suddenly seduced

sore to the core

yet still

so in love with that ache

I hear whispered in your voice

such strange strangled moments as these

pet me melancholy

so worry for me not

nay this moment be never more

smile for me instead

that beautous smile I so adore

for soon without my you

will I be not again

since I've lived to better know

our love is love

ah, but just as well

when is still when...........
