all the short falls

will end soon enough

but do be sure to use

the utmost caution

for the falls that hurt

the most

are the ones that occur

when they are least expected

and depression is nearest your

weakened state

jaded lovers can all too easily

snag new hopefuls up in this

ah but the game must indeed go on

and it does sometimes

endlessly in fact

so live a good life

remain wise and play the game

would all too willingly

trip you up if they could
