planets aligned tonight
ever so softly within my soul
the glass partition gently came down
oh so gradually for me
and I was able to see at last his love
for all its gold
vibrantly alive and sparkling so
my heart gave a purposeful lurch
he sensed the shift and questioned
my temperament and words
I was taken aback by the brilliance
of genuine feelings expressed
I'd believed before
and even myself taken a few steps
tentatively in his direction
perhaps tonight my angel guides
gave me a gentle nudge
I am ultra alive and not afraid to die
the realm of new found possibilities
has fluttered its wings like
a newly freed butterfly
and I am the summer meadow before it
unfettered in my welcoming
love when it is right
by the creed of God's laws
takes both as such happy prisoners
a 'Life Sentence'
we doubtlessly together shall serve
for, with and to each others pleasure
heaven champions no other outcome.........

Heavenly Thinking
I was considering heaven earlier this morning and this poem's absolute acceptance of "intervention" put form on the idea of eternity. I embrace the concept totally. ~ Lady A
Yes my acceptance is absolute!
I think that comes across through every fiber of my being. I have to be so careful not to come off as being too preachy. I never tire of singing God's praises and how wonderful he is. So few give him his true due. Maybe, we as humans really are unable to. I do try though. I wish everyone considered Heaven regularly. Wow, can you imagine what that world would look like. One with every human considering heaven each day. Hard to imagine. Smiles, M.
