It sneaks up and you’re not sure you want to go
So hard to say goodbye
To everything you’ve ever known and loved
Life goes on, even if you’re not ready
Time to start anew and rise above
But it hurts to let go and lose your past
Knowing inside some friendships will fail
How did everything go by so fast?
Thought summer would last forever
Your group of friends would never part
You wouldn’t see how it would hurt
And how it breaks your heart
