Friends I remember meeting you when we were just little girls
Can’t believe we’re all grown up, have moved on to face the world
We’ve shared so many years and so many memories
I’m so glad you’re here now to make some more with me
Life has slowly changed the both of us but our friendship has steadily remained
Sometimes we cry, more often we laugh, You believe in my dreams and I’m here for your pain
This emotional roller coaster is unstoppable but I’ll try to help in any way
How ‘bout we go for a ride to sing loudly together or go out and dance the night away
We share the love of things like this, it’s crazy how we’re so much alike
Which is the best part of our friendship even if it is the reason we fight
We have our ups and downs but I know this won’t ever end
‘Cause for eight years now we’ve managed to remain such close of friends
When I was told to write something and I had to use some of your words
How else could I have used them than to say, “I love ya girl!’
