Insomnia



Insomnia

Is a pain

Which comes

Without saying

I laid down

Thinking yes

I’m going to get

A good night

Sleep as it turned out

My leg had another plan

for me. every time I closed my

Eye my leg would jump high to

The sky I was sure a seizure

Would attack me in my sleep

If I tried to close my eye.



So I said forget

It there goes my

Per chance to dream. My

Eyes were heavy

I was doing all I

Could to keep from falling

Asleep. Somehow my

Eyelids over powered

My brain and I fell

Off into dreams
