Silent Death

  Silent Death

She sits in silence

In silence does she sit

And in her mind she hears the sound

As she screams her silent scream

As she screams her scream of death

She sits in silence

And listens to her screams

That only comes to rest

On ears in silent death

The wind blows cold in winter

Like thoughts upon her mind

And thoughts of death will hold her

Till death has made her blind

While thoughts of death have held her

In its steely , so cold hand

And thoughts of death have beaten her

In death she held its hand

She travelled with the wintry wind

Above the cold bleak land

In death she found her freedom

From her troubles in this land

She sits in silence

In silence she does sit

While thoughts of death have held her

In its steely , so cold hand

And in her mind she hears the sound

As she screams her scream of death

A dusty Angel came to her

On many wintry nights

A dusty Angel promised her

Relief from stress and plights

The dusty Angel kept her word

In death that promise kept

For troubled in this land no more

She died while others wept

She cried, as others wept

She sits in silence

In silence she does sit

And in her mind, she hears no sound

In screams of silent death

In her dead mind, she hears no sound

As she screams in silent death
