money is a disease

Money, money, money

How we love to spend it in many places,

These strange notes of different sizes

Many colours with different faces, Different values of what we know.

The root to all evil starts with that first note

Makes you strive to buy things like a house, or a

Boat

Cars clothes and shoes, what will come next, down to the gym to start flexing those pecks?

Getting yourself fit to carry that money,

A weight on ones shoulders that can be a worry. But people go on spending, to strike but a pose

Wearing nice glitzy jewellery and designer clothes

Fancy shirts and flashy shoes,

Expensive watches that they choose.

Life has become nothing but money itself

It's like a drug you can't help yourself,

The more you want the more you need it’s like a disease when it turns to greed.

So taking over every part of your life

Soon you will be married and taking a wife, then years down the line a divorce ensues

Making you bras sic and feeling the blues

Loneliness creeps in so dark and depressed

Climb on a chair; throw a rope round your neck Thoughts and memories run through your head

Very soon it won't matter because you'll be dead.

Close your eyes and take that last step

Jump from that chair, snap break your neck

Body swings to and fro,

Can't seem to stop, got to go with the flow.

Eyes start to close you know this is it One last attempt to try and unhitch,

You missed by a mile as you give one last smile

It's all over now your body is dead,

All but the urine that runs down your leg.

No more money for you to see

As your body hangs motionlessly,

Money isn't as pleasant as you thought it could
