Here lies my pen-
a refugee amongst dog-eared pages
with tears spoken in word capsules
knifing through wicked hearts
with language and love for common men
bloodshed do we detest
war breeds more unrest
Here, witness the lines for peace
we seek forever for bliss
See birds roaming free
and why can't we, like them be
transform will i again and again
these words to bliers- they
that harbor the coffins of war
i will cloak them in cups of tea
for you all to drink, taste and see
that this world is beautiful to be
with no war for you and me.
