Once upon a time

there was you

and me

two completely different worlds

brought together

by myspace

a pretzel

and Lazertag.

A nerve-racking first date -

A sweet, requested first kiss -

A loving one month celebration -

three simple memories

of you I have

among hundreds of times

I cherish.

I keep them in a

velvet shoe box

to review as I please

but nothing compares to holding you

in my arms.



Once upon a time

I told you that I loved you

but that's not exactly true

it's so much more than that...

to try and illustrate

just exactly how

I feel

would take centuries

and more

if that gives you any idea

I'd love to tell you

how much

I love you

I'd love to show you

how much

I care

but unless I can capture

all the beautiful

stars

in a photograph

you'll just have to take my word for it.

and you filled me with

such happiness

I thought I might explode

and on this

because this crazy Irish girl

is crazy about you

and I refuse to give up
