I am Tired of being Alone

I walk on the light, and I walk on the dark,

Searching for my baby, to see where she is at.

Through the whispers of the night, I hear her sweet spark,

In the shadows and the silence, I’m longing for her laugh.

Oh, I am tired of being alone,

Yes, I am tired of being alone.

With every step I take, my heart feels like a stone,

Wandering these streets, just me and my worn-out soul.

The stars above are shining, like the memories we made,

Each glimmer tells a story of love that won’t fade.

In the echoes of the past, I still hear her name,

Like a melody that lingers, driving me insane.

Oh, I am tired of being alone,

Yes, I am tired of being alone.

With every step I take, my heart feels like a stone,

Wandering these streets, just me and my worn-out soul.

So I’ll keep on searching, through the night so cold,

With hope as my lantern, guiding me to hold,

The warmth of her laughter, the light in her eyes,

I’ll find my way back to her, beneath these endless skies.

Oh, I am tired of being alone,

Yes, I am tired of being alone.

With every step I take, my heart feels like a stone,

Wandering these streets, just me and my worn-out soul.

Relatable to many

Alone but not lonely.

It's best to not chase, but rather attract.

There is unmatched peace to being alone until that one comes along who recognizes a soul from matched lifetimes ago.

I wish someone had told me

I wish someone had told me this during my adolescence.
